Found this amazing website today… The only problem is it’s in Russian and I don’t have a clue who took these pictures and if it’s photo-montage or if they’ve been manipulated with Photoshop… Well, I think it’s definitely long exposure photography really well executed but certainly with quite a bit of image retouching after. If not, well that’s really amazing then… If someone is fluent in Russian and can find out who took these shots and if it’s been modified in post-prod please let me know I’m dying to know what techniques they used to keep the shapes so smooth and clean…

This video is around a year old now but for those who saw it a year ago I’m pretty sure it still gives you goosebumps… Excellent tune by Radiohead covered with genius by a graduate of Glasgow School of Art James Houston. I’ve seen something similar made with just a scanner sometimes ago but it wasn’t anywhere close to this amazing masterpiece using an old scanner, a printer, a few old hard drives and a ZX spectrum. James’ work received over a million online views and apparently he even got the acclaim of Thom Yorke himself. He also got offered a record deal even though he’s not a musician. Brilliant!!!
Excellent illustrations, grafs, sculptures and collages by UK artist Ronzo. Ronzo doesn’t have a prefered style and is a bit of a “touche à tout” which is really cool. To generalise one could say most of his work is grungy and destroy in essence but some pieces are well designed and clean… His use of different techniques makes his work surprisingly interesting to look at. I miss this type of artists not sticking to one style and simply playing around and really enjoying it. Probably best visiting his website to get an idea…
Stunning photographs by London based photographer Tim Bret-Day. Tim’s portfolio is full of astonishing and amazing photos, works of art or whatever you want to call it. The website is a bit annoying in my view (hate those unfriendly Flash navigation system) but I managed to go pass that and have a good click around due to the quality of each shot I had in front of me… Tim Bret Day worked for various companies and celebrities including Elle MacPherson, Agent Provocateur, Natalie Imbruglia and many more!!
