Here is the latest Talk Talk TV advert. The stop motion animation video was created by Noah Harris using Canon 5D mkII digital cameras for the long exposure photography and a set of 80 HD cameras. The result is quite excellent. A really good mix of light graf, animation and video. Great job!

Sophie Griotto - Illustrations

Feminine, modern and colourful illustrations by French artist Sophie Griotto aka Griotte currently living in Paris. Her favourite theme is women and their modern life style in the city. Her website is really nice and welcoming, the navigation is a bit old school and a tad annoying in my view but this aspect is well over compensated by the quality of her illustrations. If you enjoy Sophie’s work and you would like to get yourself a little artistic treat, some of her pieces are available for sale on Amkashop under the artist name Griotte.

Mary Thompson Art

Intriguing and fascinating pieces of art and illustrations by Mary Thompson who recently achieved a first class degree in fine art at University College Falmouth (UK). It seems Mary loves to play with different items, different materials, media, experiment, and expriment even more. The result is pretty random but how beautiful. Her pieces of artwork release so many good vibes and spirit. I only have a tiny regret about her website; I wish it had more examples of her crazy “drawing machines” that seem so interesting…
Campbell Hay - Design Studio

Really simple, clean and elegant graphic design works by London based design agency Campbell Hay. The Identity and Print sections’ works are as simple as it could be but the result is strong. Everything looks so perfect, stunning professional look… Their website is also amazingly clean and everything inside is simply perfect. Visiting Campbell Hay website is an experience of its own…
Newcastle Gateshead Art Fair

This year again, The Sage Gateshead, one of the most iconic UK modern building designed by one the most famous architect Norman Foster (Millau Viaduc - France, Gurkin - London, Millenium Bridge - London…), will host the Newcastle/Gateshead Art Fair. Peter Root - Fine Art

Creativity to its highest? All the artworks, installations and sculptures by Peter Root are original! It seems like nothing can stop Peter’s imagination being put in production and his artworks to be finalised as he attended to… Astonishing!
Mat Dolphin - Graphic Design

Clean, crisp and very professional graphic design work by London based design agency Mat Dolphin. Mat Dolphin is the collaboration between Tom Actman and Phil Cook. They’ve got a very varied portfolio and don’t seem to fall in one style. Enjoyable design!
Helping disable kids
HautStyle and the presenters of The Colin and Matt Show Colin and Matt as well as another friend called Gary are running for their first time the Great North Run 2009. For those who don’t know what the Great North Run is, it’s a lovely and gentle half marathon (13miles or 21km) taking place in the North East of England starting in Newcastle and finishing (13miles further…) in South Shields.
Now, you may wonder why those guys who never do exercise and mainly spend their time blogging, preparing and recording podcast shows or simply seating and having a chilled beer in the pub are hoping to run 13miles? All 4 of them are actually trying to raise money for a charity called Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund helping children with disabilities and their families.
It would be megappreciated if you could make a donation, even a small one (but more is better), to help the kids. You can either use the big blue button Donate at the top right of the homepage or simply click here. Come back from time to time and check if all together we manage to achieve our target of £1,500. Thanks in advance for them…
Ersinhan Ersin - Tapeography

Supra original and well executed artworks and typography made out of tape by Ersinhan Ersin from Turkey. I especially enjoy his work on the skull. Ersinhan calls his technique Tapeography. (Or Tapography?). What ever name you want to give it, his work is certainly unusual and indeed seriously original and fun…
