Here are some really dark and some futuristic paintings and illustrations by Sam Webber, an American paintor and illustrator based in New York. Sam has an extensive list of well known clients including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Sony/BMG, PlayBoy and ESPN amongst others… Sam has a nice singular style and manages to bring his own touch of frightening yet beautifully executed darkness!

Fabien Barral - Graphic Design
Excellent graphic design skills by Fabien Barral, a freelance graphic designer based in France. Fabien’s work on Harmonie Intérieure is so captivating! The green tones of the first one, the general balance and the overall composition is well managed! Really nice work…
Takcom - Video
Here are 2 excellent videos realised by Takcom…
Janet Waters - Photography
A lot of inspiring photographs by Janet Waters, a Blackpool (UK) based photography programme leader. As Janet mentioned on her Flickr profile, she’s building up a ‘visual library’ of ideas to inspire her students. What a library! Her experiment collection is incredible; so colourful and so organic. In certain situations, the photographs almost look like paintings or watercolours… Because Janet has such an extensive library of experimental photographs it’s been quite hard to only select a few! Some might have a bit too much grain especially in the “smoke” section but it doesn’t really matter as her work is more about the ideas and experimentations…
Gwen Vanhee aka Revoid
Back in March, at the start of HautStyle as a design blog, was mentioned a Belgian artist called Revoid aka Gwen Vanhee. Today, after random clicks, browsing and reading I found these awesome videos/animations realised by this same Revoid. These animations are made using Flash and AS3, saved frame by frame as an image then imported into Premiere. The colours and the textures created in these interactive mark making animations are wonderful.
