Absolutely superb illustrations by Jeff Simpson from Vancouver (Canada). Jeff’s illustrations are often quite dark with a sexy edge. He seems to be really in his element with volumes, depth, contrast (either shapes, sizes or colours) and lighting. A tad too dark for me but I’m still amazed by the quality of his illustrations. Big up!

About a year ago I showcased the sublime work of UK based designer Sean Freeman. Randomly this week I found some of Sean’s recent designs and was amazed by his improvment! I didn’t think it would be possible to improve because he had such incredible skills already; but he managed it! The selection above is just a sample of his work showing how much details and efforts he can put in his creations. Magnetosphere - Processing

A couple of excellent abstract, spacial and atmospherical animations/videos created with Processing by Flight404. The spheres, all the particules flying around and the position of the camera are all triggered accordingly to the music beats. Nothing really new here (especially as the first one one was made in 2007) but the end result is nonetheless impressive.
