Amazingly detailed illustrations and digital art pieces by Washington DC based freelance illustrator Zach Bush. Zach is also talented in photography and impressive in photo and image retouching as you can see on this Image Manipulation section on his DeviantArt page.

Silent Order - Photography
Really really cold and dark photographs by Silent Order from Halle in Germany… Although Silent Order’s universe is dark and gloomy there is always an element of bright color in his photography captivating the attention and making all photographs so attractive. There must be a lot of post prod and image retouching but the presented pieces keep their entire integrity. Not very surprisingly, if you dig up a bit of info about Silent Order (or is it Silent View??), you’ll find he’s quite into this dark universe loving films like Sleepy Hollow, Saw, Se7en and video games like Silent Hill…
Amber Gray - Photography
Excellent and professional photographs by Amber Gray. Her section named “conceptual” is absolutely amazing. It sinks the user in a fairy world of subtle tones, well managed blurs and washed out tinted lightings. The composition on the last photograph is sublime. If you could eye-track people looking at it, I guess 99% of them would follow the same path ending without any doubt with the person’s face under the dress (although it’s not in any way prominent at first glance). With such a creative mind and technical abilities to back it up it’s not surprising to see Maybelline NY, Mont Blanc or Marie Claire on Amber Gray’s client list. If you like her work and generally the atmosphere she immerses into, you can follow her blog and find more things she produced or simply inspire her.
George Rustchev - Photography
Superb photographs and image manipulations by self-taught photographer George Rustchev. Unfortunately George doesn’t have his own website or deviant art page or anything like that I could link to. However you can see more of is work here. George’s photography is imaginative, very well treated but what is the most exciting in his photographs is the way he uses contrasts (either in colours, shapes, objects/subjects, theme).
Sean Freeman - Design
About a year ago I showcased the sublime work of UK based designer Sean Freeman. Randomly this week I found some of Sean’s recent designs and was amazed by his improvment! I didn’t think it would be possible to improve because he had such incredible skills already; but he managed it! The selection above is just a sample of his work showing how much details and efforts he can put in his creations. Sean Freeman really has an eye for typography, movement, and his constant search for perfection makes him a target of choice for big companies like Nike, The Guardian, The New York Times and many more to hire his services… For more examples of Sean’s work please visit his website thereis.co.uk.
Mujuworld - Art & Design
Superb art and design work by Mr and Mrs Muju aka Mujuworld based in St Ives Cornwall, UK. Before moving there, Muju lived in Brighton where I guess they were (probably still are) quite friends with the people from Toy Life as you can see some of their artwork displayed in Toy Life’s shop (one of the picture above). Muju’s artwork is usually really colourful and fun whatever the medium used. They can work on wood, stakeboards, art toys, paper, create plushies… Their imagination doesn’t seem to have any boundaries. You can find some of Muju’s T-shirts on LaFraise and in particular this T-shirt that was released not too long ago. Funky stuff! Like it!
Marumiyan - Graphic design
Superb graphic design by Marumiyan aka Marumagraph currently living in Fukukoa, Japan. On the selection above, Marumiyan’s work looks kind of westernised but it often has Japanese influences… He has a large panel of work for CD covers, books and graphic works of all kind.
Atomic Attack - Design
Excellent design work by Atomic Attack aka Calvin Ho from Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. Calvin worked on a large selection of design and illustration projects for big names like Cartier, Dazed and Confused, Nokia, Marks & Spencer and Computer Arts amongts others. Calvin’s style is modern and professionaly executed! He has an extreme ability for mixing media seamlessly to create designs that transmit lots of emotions and most importantly illustrate with wonder the subject treated!! Really good design skills…
Brian Walker - Photography
You might have seen the photography work of Brian Walker already but I couldn’t miss it out really. Brian Walker is a very talented contemporary photographer from Sydney (Australia). Through image retouching and other digital interventions Brian mixes reality and fantasy, a bit along the lines of the regretted Bob Carlos Clarke but with a lot more colour and fun. I particularly like the finesse of the top picture and the use of what I can only describe as “hair lashes tears”…
