You may well have seen this incredible video in the last 2 months but it fits with yesterday’s post about underwater photography. The video above was shot in the Bahamas in a place called Dean’s Blue Hole. Although the video uses some clever editing to show bits that may not have happened (at least not in one breath), the result is ‘breath taking’ and the song You Make Feel by Archives adds perfectly to the mood of the video. French free diver Guillaume Nery, who holds the world record of free diving as he dove -113m under sea level in 2008, did all the footage only holding breath! It’s also worth mentioning Julie Gautier was behind the video camera, and her too was holding breath during the footage… Splendid!

Augustine Kofie aka Kofie One
Back in April 2009, HautStyle wrote a post about the very talented Kofie One aka Augustine Kofie. Since then, Kofie One had plenty of time to produce some new exciting artworks, some of them being presented above. Kofie also had some videos made about his work including “Augustine Kofie” (first one) by The Qualities of Light and Time Lapse at Volta6 Art Fair in Basel, Switzerland (last video). You can see more of Augustine’s work on his website called keepdrafting.
Ekaterina Grigorieva - Illustrations
A selection of really cool, dark and sometimes quite poetic drawings and illustrations by Ekaterina Grigorieva from Moscow (Russia). You can see a good selection of Ekaterina’s drawings, illustrations and photographs on her website and a bit more on her Behance page here…
Noumeda Carbone - Illustration
Detailed and delicate illustrations by French illustrator and painter Noumeda Carbone now living in Florence (Italy). Noumeda’s black and white illustrations with hints of red tones are superb and so are the lines used in the women hair.
Graffiti Analysis 2.0 - video
Could spend some times describing what the project is all about but the video (Graffiti Analysis 2.0 - Digital Blackbook) explains it all!! Really really cool! It reminds me of when I was studying mark making at uni and tried to develop something along those lines in Flash and Processing (but not very successful). It looks like I should have worked harder… and in open frameworks!
