Interesting use of html5 for this interactive video by Chris Milk for Arcade Fire. The whole concept is very interesting; playing with Google street view, Google maps, including interactivity and normal video footage. The only downside is that it seems to only work on Google Chrome which apparently is the only browser to support all html5 features required in this video. If not completely breathtaking because of a lack of stunning graphics, it’s at least very interesting to see where all this html5 is heading towards and to imagine what will be the internet in a few years. The Wilderness Downtown - Video
Marcel the shell with shoes on
This video might not be state of the art in terms of shooting quality but its simplicity makes it work much better than a super prod would do! It gives it an edge of reality and depicts the life of Marcel the Shell with shoes on. The video was created by Dean Fleischer-Camp from Brooklyn, NY.
Fashion photo shoot - Video
Nicely put together fashion photo shoot video by Jewell and Ginnie for Charleston Magazine Sept 2010.
Macro Kingdom II
Excellent macro video simply named Macro Kingdom II created by Clemens Wirth aka Clemento who is currently studying multimedia art in Salzburg in Austria. Absolutely superb, just wished the video was a bit longer to completely immerse in this wonderful macro world. The video was shot with 5DmarkII and MP-E 65m.
Monstrous Wildlife - Documentary Animation
Superb documentary animation by Frank Robnik about monstrous wildlife and the Graboids. Well executed and very instructive! Can’t wait for Frank’s second documentary about the giant bird as big as a battleship high in the sky…
