Unusual vector based illustrations from London based artist Emily Forgot. Her style is quite particular as it uses this modern technique which is vector based illustrations but most of her final pieces have a nice retro look.
Emily works/worked for big names like the Guardian, Dazed and Confused… She also exhibited her personal work in London and around the world.
I just looked back at this post yesterday and the first image reminded me of something I had seen before but I couldn’t put my finger on it. It’s only tonight it came back to me, the skulls and birds Emily is using in the background of the first illustrations are prominently part of the art pieces by British Artist Dan Baldwin. They are is “signature” in some way. Well, at least it’s these birds and skulls (+Mickey) I’ve in mind when I hear/read/talk about his work.
