I can’t really put my feelings into words, the best way is probably to simply describe what happened. I opened Nicholas Sheehy‘s website, I straight away liked the thumbnails. I clicked on the thumbnails and then I loved his illustrations. Good enough an explanation? Seriously now, I like the fact it looks simple and neat but there is still a good deal of work on his illustrations (especially on the last one…). It’s a bit funky, funny, different, colourful. His illustrations look like it’s a mix of the technical drawing skills of an adult and the limitless creativity and sensibility of a child.
