Geometrical and really often based on circles illustrations and designs by Michael Paukner. Although it looks really clean and simple Michael’s work is none the less pleasing especially in terms of background textures. Keeping things simple but attractive is something that is always harder than it may seem and Michael Paukner really is a pro in my view for that. Simple. Efficient.

Kai Isselhorst - Graphic design
Graphic design and illustrations by German designer Kai Esselhorst. Kai’s portfolio is full of intricate, nicely laid out and well balanced designs and illustrations. His photography section is however a bit of a let down compared to his design skills and the rest of his work.
Empk - Graphic design
Very geometrical graphic design pieces by Empk which consists of Barbara Allain and Diego Bellorin. Their atelier is based in Sau Paulo and they are respectively photographer (Barbara Allain) and graphic designer (Diego Bellorin). They’ve been working for Computer Arts, Nike, Schweppes, Zoo York and many more companies I one day dream to work for!
Rik Oostenbroek - Graphic Design
Colourful and quite geometrical designs by Netherlands graphic designer Rik Oostenbroek aka NKeo.
Nitras - Graphic design
Some excellent pieces of graphic design but also web design by Belgian designer Peter Eeckelaert aka Nitras. I’ve never been a big fan of full Flash websites (especially in the recent years) but this one is actually quite easy to navigate and without too much animation or distraction going around at the same time (except the music). Nitras‘ graphic designs are modern, maybe a tad fashionable but the result is always nicely laid out and well balanced. Even though the tones are often cold, the shapes used always bring some dynamique in the composition.
Ebon Heath - Graphic design
Superb graphic design and typography work by Ebon Heath. The Stereo.type series is simply splendid, it includes really nice photographs of typographic jewelry, typographic posters and other installations!! All the letters are either hand cutted by Ebon Heath or laser cutted. Absolutely superb work! But horrible website to navigate, I mean really horrible… Photography by Mike Redfern.
The Ninth House - Transitions
Excellent illustrations for this series entitled Transitions started in June 2009 by Luis Araujo founder of The Ninth House also called TNH. Luis, who also is the creative director of Creativestem and The Raster, is really involved in the art and design world as you can see through the number of design related projects he is working on.
Jason Mayo - Graphic design
Shown above some samples of Jason Mayo’s work. Jason is a freelance graphic designer from Manchester (UK), specialising in interactive design, motion graphic, print and web development. In a few words, anything designed from a computer for print or interactive media. Jason designed WeNayVary 2009 degree show catalogue where there was a selection of his own pieces, he also appeared in Computer Arts as well as Smashing Magazine.
Sam Arnold - Graphic Design
Some interesting graphic design projects by East Sussex based freelance designer Sam Arnold. I’m not fan of all of Sam’s work, especially his website starting with a very old fashion Flash animation style intro but Sam has worked on quite a few interesting projects.
Fabien Barral - Graphic Design
Excellent graphic design skills by Fabien Barral, a freelance graphic designer based in France. Fabien’s work on Harmonie Intérieure is so captivating! The green tones of the first one, the general balance and the overall composition is well managed! Really nice work…
