I’ve discovered about Big Fish through their packaging design and branding for Dorset Cereals. They actually won an Award for best branded packaging design for this product line… All Big Fish’s work is outstanding and looks like it’s been deeply thought through to create the best visual appeal possible. It’s not only about the quality of the visuals though, but also about the overwhole concept and ideas transmitted with the branding in order to promote the products to the right people with the right message. Not surprising then to see in their client list names like Abercrombie & Kent, BBC, Coca-Cola, Dorset Cereals, Fanta, Gu…
Unusual vector based illustrations from London based artist Emily Forgot. Her style is quite particular as it uses this modern technique which is vector based illustrations but most of her final pieces have a nice retro look.
Emily works/worked for big names like the Guardian, Dazed and Confused… She also exhibited her personal work in London and around the world.
I just looked back at this post yesterday and the first image reminded me of something I had seen before but I couldn’t put my finger on it. It’s only tonight it came back to me, the skulls and birds Emily is using in the background of the first illustrations are prominently part of the art pieces by British Artist Dan Baldwin. They are is “signature” in some way. Well, at least it’s these birds and skulls (+Mickey) I’ve in mind when I hear/read/talk about his work.

Clean, crisp and very professional graphic design work by London based design agency Mat Dolphin. Mat Dolphin is the collaboration between Tom Actman and Phil Cook. They’ve got a very varied portfolio and don’t seem to fall in one style. Enjoyable design!

Some cool pieces of artworks by UK based street artist Snub23. Snub23 works on various support from actual walls and street items to stickers, canvases… Snub23 also designs T-shirts, stencils, Toys… Seeing the amount of pictures on his “exhibitions” section, I would guess Snub23 did quite a few exhibitions and seems to be really active in the street art community as he was part of the StreetFest last May…
