Excellent and unusual theme for a modern painter! The bird subject might appear as “old fashion” but the way Frank Gonzales creates his paintings has a really edgy and contemporary style to it! Love it! Apparently I’m not the only one as Frank’s artwork and talent seems to be recognised all over America and Europe…

Audrey Kawasaki - Illustration
Some samples of the delicate, innocent but sometimes slightly erotic illustrations and paintings by Audrey Kawasaki. Audrey seems to particularly enjoy working on wood, probably to bring this sense of warmth and innocence in her paintings as well as the random textures wood provides. Audrey also sells a few different products such as skateboard decks, iphone covers…
Sam Webber - Illustration
Here are some really dark and some futuristic paintings and illustrations by Sam Webber, an American paintor and illustrator based in New York. Sam has an extensive list of well known clients including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Sony/BMG, PlayBoy and ESPN amongst others… Sam has a nice singular style and manages to bring his own touch of frightening yet beautifully executed darkness!
Paresh Nrshinga - Abstract Art
Here is the artwork of another fine artist I’ve discovered during Newcastle Gateshead Art Fair last weekend. Paresh Nrshinga is specialising in abstract paintings and abstract art. Through his singular use of strong colour and personal techniques Paresh manages to bring a lot of strength, energy, balance and vibrance in his paintings which really captivated me during the exhibition. I guess I’m not the only one to love his work as Paresh is apparently one of the most collectable abstract artist in Britain and has been exhibited around the world from Paris to Florence, New York, Germany, UK, Italy…
