You’d have to be a bit of a maniac to create a copy of Daft Punk Helmet but the result is well worth the 17 months of hard work to make it…

Daft Punk Helmet
35mm - Animation video
Pascal Monaco (and his friends) tried to graphically simplify 35 of their favourite films to create this astonishing animation depicting a journey through film history.
Hydro Energy Train - Video
It’s apparently a very old advert but it’s very good anyway…
Preguntas Hermosas - Animation
Latest animation by David Viau from Superfad based on 2 poems: “Poema X” by Pablo Neruda and “Under the Harvest Moon” by Carl Sandburg. The reel is short but impressive!
Iron Baby - Video
I wish I was an Iron Baby! Well I wish I was an iron man and then I could have Iron babies…
Nike - Write the future
Very impressive advert for Nike: Write the future! It looks absolutely fantastic, it must have cost lots of money to get so many good/famous players (Rooney, Drogba, Ronaldo, Ribery…) but it’s well worth it! A must see even for those who aren’t big football fans…
The bug - 3D Animation
Superb 3D animation named “The Bug” created by student Yongsub Song as part of his thesis at Computer Art MFA School of Visual Art. The quality of this animation is amazing and the storyline quite cool but it sometimes is a bit tricky to grasp it all as the animation is a tad too fast… Love it despite the speed!
Lego Cl!ck - Short film
Lego based animation created by Pereira O’Dell agency for LEGO systems.
Broken Fingaz - Graffiti Stop Motion
Yet another street art stop motion? Yes indeed! But this one is cool and different from the usual graf stop motion you can see around quite a lot at the minute or even from this one called Combo Stop Motion HautStyle showcased last year! This one created by Tant and Unga from Broken Fingaz uses lots of different aspects of stop motion making people “fly”, using real 3D objects and “live” elements like fire to give more intensity and a sense of reality to the animation. Really good stuff (if not excellent)…
Patrick Jean - Pixels Animation
Excellent animation called Pixels written and directed by Patrick Jean. Really cool, well executed animation with quite a few geeky video games references throughout such as Tetris (of course), Pacman, Bomberman, Space Invaders…
